No available Jazz server for project area

Gary Dang (59328855) | asked Jul 18 '08, 12:17 a.m.
The CQGateway log shows the following error. Any idea? Thanks.

FYI:
1. There is only one sync rule in the project area

2. There is only one active project area. I do have two archived project areas. I'm not sure whether the archived project areas caused the issue in the log file.

3. http://.../InteropGateway/InteropServlet page shows:
Jazz Team Servers:
URI: https://...../jazz
Status: OK
Project Area: "nnnnnn"
The project area name is correct.

This can happen if you have any CQ filter queries configured for a project area that doesn't have any sync rules defined for it. Is it possible that you have a folder in your CQ query tree that is named for one of the archived project areas (or some project area that doesn't have any sync rules)?

No, I have only one folder (same name as the project area) under "JazzConnector".

Another possibility is that the CQ record was once connected to one of your archived project areas, but is now no longer selected by your filter queries. In that case, the CQ gateway will assume it should still be connected to the last project area it was synced to. Do you have queries defined to select the records to sync? If so, does the query for the record's type select that record? (Just run the query in the CQ client and see if the record is included in the result set.)
