Parent/Child relationship via OSLC

I've started playing around with OSLC against RRC 3.0 based on the OSLC-workshop (thanks for this helpful resource).

Am I right that only the OSLC defined link types are accessible via OSLC, while others (esp. parent/child linking) is not? Are there alternative ways accessing (and modifying) this information?

Thanks
Yvo

For OSLC relationships in RRC 3.x we have provided OOTB defined types that you are able to use for creating relationships and working with requirements information through RRC. These are the supported methods today for working with RRC and we wouldn't advise alternatives.

Yes only the defined OSLC link types (e.g. Implemented By, Validated By, Tracked By) are accessible via an OSLC RESTful service. All other system (and custom defined) link types, like Parent-Child, are not accessible via OSLC.
