RTC Build Forge integration question

Hi,

I can reset all properties and values listed on the RTC build definition properties page to the values defined in a BF project but not the other way (i.e., RTC to BF). Why is it?

This work item has some discussion in the comments about the design decisions with regard to the properties. I believe the decisions discussed in that work item indicate that the thinking was that that a project in BF may be run in different situations when started from BF, and therefore it would be better not to permanently change the BF environment property value (RTC to BF). In RTC if you change the property values, the BF 'build environment' gets the new RTC property values (and any build requested from RTC uses those values during the BF build) but the original BF project environment values remain unchanged.
