Can anybody explain me what are the purposes of both database indices and text indices, and how they are related to each other?
I mean:
1) when are db indices updated?
2) when db indices are updated, are text indices updated too? Or vice versa?
3) after the initial build of db indices, are any new indices created, or are already existing indices just updated?

I am using RTC 3.0.1 on Oracle and Linux.
