Project Run Environment Not Getting PATH Variable in Linux

Ivan Tan (161) | asked Nov 03 '11, 10:22 p.m.
Hi all,

I'm currently facing an issue where my project run environment doesn't inherit the user's login environment, e.g. PATH. In my project environment, I'm trying to append a new path to PATH, but during the project run, the value of PATH is only the new path that I've appended.

This is causing my steps unable to run commands like "ln, rm, etc".

Has anyone faced this issue before?

My agent is running on Kubuntu 10.4.3 and I'm using BF 7.1.3.1

This looks like a BF 7.1.3.1 agent issue; I tested this with agent version 7.1.1.4-0-0010 and PATH environment variable was acquired correctly.

Since Kubuntu isn't an officially supported agent OS, I guess I'll just have to stick with this older agent version for now.
