Issue Registering QM with JTS
I'm upgrading from RQM 2.0.1 to the latest version of JTS. The upgrade bat file seemed to have gone off without a hitch, but I come across an issue when attempting to register QM in the JTS setup. I get the following error:
"An error occurred while attempting to access the Application About service listed in the Discovery document for this application. Please ensure that the application has been installed and provisioned correctly.ID CRJAZ2080E
hide details
Unable to load https://:9443/application-about status:404"
Anyone have any idea what could be going on with this? Any ideas on how I can load the application-about page? For the record, this is the only thing keeping me from loading the qm application (or jazz since I'm upgrading from RQM and using the RQM context).
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Nelson,
404 means not found, so it appears the app server could not find the file.
Is the AppServer running? Did you make sure to install with upgrade options? We wave several articles in the Library that can help you with upgrading. Did you try with a browser to open that page? Also more details on your environment would be interesting.

Ralph,
App server is running. I'm on the setup site. The error I'm talking about is being seen in the Register Applications window of the setup.
The upgrade was done via the instructions from the "Interactive Upgrade Guide" http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/roadmap_clm_upgrade.html
I filled out the proper parameters and the upgrade from v2 to v3 was done via the qm_upgrade.bat file that was included in the install.
I'm practicing the upgrade on a VM before going to the deployment server. The VM is running Windows XP Pro, with JTS running on the default Tomcat server and Derby databases.
Hi,
can you reach the site it claims can not be reached during registration?
I have seen deployments not happening during the first start for example. In a case like that you can delete the folders with the name of the war files to enforce redeployment on the next start. Key is to find out if the page can indeed not be loaded.

The application-about page cannot be reached. I get a 404 error when attempting to go there.
