Making an attribute enabled at a particular state

I want to view particular attribute only at a particular state. Till then it should be disabled or read only. Is their any way of customization we could do to make a field enabled only at a particular state.

In the Process Configuration>ConfigurationData>Work Items>Editor Presentation you could try using the "Hide in workflow state" on the editor presentation of your attribute.

Note: if you did not add an editor presentation for your attributes and see them only in the Custom Attributes Tab in Eclipse, you don't have that option and need to add a presentation.

Hi Ralph

Is it possible to hide Approval (Non Attribute presentation) in particular state?

Regards,

Pravin

Hi Pravin,

as far as I can tell you can only hide attributes. I am not aware of a way how to hide like links, approvals etc. based on states.

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for Earlier.

I am able to hide link on particular state but not able to hide Approval presentation.

I just realized you have hide in workflow state for some of the presentations. So, that would work for links. You have to check for each presentation. If you want to be able to hide elements that you can't today, I would consider creating a work item. I would think it should be consistent for all presentations.
