BIRT - How to get tasks, which are linked to stories

Rolf Mueller (111) | asked Oct 23 '11, 9:29 a.m.
I would like to query all tasks, which belong to a story (defined through a child-relationship) to count the overall time spent for a story. I know how to query the workitem table, but I can't find the table, which holds the relationship information. Anyone who knows how to do this?

The relationship info is in the LINKS table in COMMON_SNAPSHOT.
One place this is discussed is at: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/rational/library/10/creatingcustomreportswithbirtandrtc-part2/index.html
which is part of a good series of articles. Search for "Retrieving Linked Items" in that article.
