Changing the Agent's Port

If I change the agent's port, how does the Management Console machine find it? How do I notify (configure) the MC that the agent is on a different port than the default?

Thanks,

Hi,

You can include a port number with the host name on the Server page 'Host' entry field in the Web UI. For example, the host field would have something like 'host.my.company.com:3967'. If you specify a port number with the host name, it overrides the port number that the 'Default Agent Port' system setting defines (in the Web UI: Administration -> System -> Default Agent Port).
