How RRDI interact with RTC in terms of it's architect

Hi,
I would like to see how RRDI interact with RTC in terms of it's architect and positioning.
Is there any diagram for it?
I would like to check my understanding for RRDI.
Q1. Do reports actually run on RTC server or RRDI server (cognos)?
my understanding : RRDI is to create a report template and actual report will be run on RTC by using report template created by cognose report studio.
Q2. Can we use a report created from RRDI report template on the dashboard?
Q3. Can we use all chart types, which was listed in the information center below?
Chart Types
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0m1/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.swg.im.cognos.ug_cr_rptstd.8.4.1.doc%2Fug_cr_rptstd_i_cr_rptstd_chrts_appndx_chart_types_appen.html
Thank you, in advance.

RRDI reports run on the reporting server using the data warehouse data.
RTC is out of the picture at this moment. RRDI only talks to the JTS for
authentication. Even if you run a report inside the RTC Web UI it will
still just run the report on the report server and show the results in
an iframe in the Web UI.
Yes. We provide a custom report viewlet for this.
There is no limitation. We ship the full Report Studio. Which type makes
sense to use is a question of your goals and the data available.
Hope this helps,
