Is Dependency Build available in normal RTC?

Hi

Is this feature available in normal RTC for Java (not for zOS)? This is the exact feature I am looking for our continuous incremental build.

After you make small changes to your files, you can run a dependency build so you do not have to rebuild all of your files. You can also run a dependency buihld when you want to rebuild only a specific application or set of files.

Hi

Unfortunately no, dependency based build is currently only available on the z/OS platform and only available with the Enterprise CAL. We are currently looking at rolling it out to other platforms (169845: Dependency Build, promotion, deployment cross all platforms). However, we currently do not have the creation of a Java dependency scanner on our books.
This is great ultimate goal but we are not there yet.
