RAFW Compare issue

Hi,

I get exception while running the following command:
C:\RAFW\bin>rafw.bat -e FNPOC -c WASAU182DEV231_Cell -r was_common_configure_all

Exception is:

WASX7017E: Exception received while running file "C:/RAFW/product/actions/configure/was/common/scripts/cacheInstance.py"; exception information: com.ibm.bsf.BSFException: exception from Jython:
Traceback (innermost last):

java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to open or read: C:/RAFW /product/lib/jython/wsadmin_lib/ConfigTypeKeys.properties

We noticed there is a space after RAFW. The path should be
C:/RAFW/product/lib/jython/wsadmin_lib/ConfigTypeKeys.properties

The same error happens when running from Buildforge or via the command line. We have tried mulitple environments. Could someone assist please.

The version used is Rational Automation Framework for WebSphere version 7.1.1.4 build 20100423-1837

I would suggest contacting support and opening a PMR to request a fix. The 7.1.1.4 release is over a year old and there are couple of newer releases available where this might already have been addressed.

I would double check the RAFW_HOME/configure.properties on your framework server to see if the stray white space is in your WIN_RAFW_HOME variable. If not, I would agree with David and open a PMR.

Thanks. I did checked the configure.properties file before posting the message. I have checked it again and there is no white space.

I will open a PMR for this.

THanks

The issue was resolve via the PMR process.

"I have found the same error in the previous case and it is resolved by clearing WINDOWS_RAFW_HOME=D:/RAFW in the root of RAFW_HOME on the target."
