IDE ECLIPSE AND BASELINE COMPONENT

How I can create a baseline component of a stream using the Eclipse IDE? The option is not visible in the Eclipse IDE and the IDE of Visual Studio itself is visible!!!!!!!!

To create a baseline, right-click on the component in Pending Changes view -> New -> Baseline.

To create a baseline, right-click on the component in Pending Changes view -> New -> Baseline.

In the Visual Studio IDE, at the top of your screen, you will see the
"Team Concert" menu.

Select "Team_Concert -> Window -> Team_Artifacts". This will expose the
Team Artifacts view.

If you don't see a folder for your project area in that view, open the
repository connections folder, right click on the repository, select
"manage project areas", and select the project area containing the
stream you care about.

Then open your project area folder, and you will see a Source Control
folder.

Open the Source Control folder, and you will see a list of the streams
in the project area.

Open the desired stream folder, and you will see under it an entry for
each component in that stream.

Right click on a component, and select "New->Baseline" to create a new
baseline on that component in that stream.

Ok maybe I did not know to explain, you can create a baseline from one component of a stream, but this option is not visible on the client eclipse.

Since 3.0.1, you can drag or show a stream in Pending Changes (Eclipse client). From there, you may create a baseline on the stream and optionally deliver it to its flow target.

If you're on an older version of the Eclipse client, you require a workspace collaborating with the stream to create and deliver the baseline to the stream. There is no option to create the baseline directly on the stream.

're talking about workspace, can not be done directly as in the Visual Studio IDE? my version is 3.0.1

Yes, it's an action that only exists for Visual Studio. In Eclipse, it was decided that a user would create and deliver baselines for streams through the use of a workspace.

When streams were able to be shown in Pending Changes, the action to create a baseline was allowed but only from Pending Changes.
