I would like to know the best way to perform RTC source control actions via asp.net.

we have an existing asp.net application which connects to VSS via sourcesafe dll(Microsoft.VisualStudio.SourceSafe.Interop.dll) and perform all the source control related vss actions(checkin,checkout,get latest version etc).

Now we are migrating from Vss to RTC and from now on RTC will be our primary tool for source control.

we need to modify the exisitng Asp.net web application such that it connects to RTC and perform source control related activities.

I would like to know the best way to achieve this task. Is there any API/dll/webservices/REST which i can call from my asp.net application and do the source control related actions?

Asp.net version : 2008
RTC : 2.2 and 3.1(we will be migrating to 3.1 soon).
