RQM is not picking up the RPT adapter

Byron Magruder (2611) | asked Jul 20 '11, 2:01 p.m.
We have RPT 8.2.0.3 installed.

We configured the Quality Manager Adapter in RPT to reflect the following info:
Server URL: https://my_ecm_server:9443/jazz
Login: my_id
Password: my password
Adapter Name: RPT on MachineName
Project Area (Optional): PROJECTNAME

Verified that the adapter was running by executing the following DOS command: "RQMAdapter.bat Status" and was returned: "Status...
RQM server = https://my_ecm_server:9443/jazz adapter name = RPT on MachineName
Project Area = PROJECTNAME Workspace = C:\Users\my_id\IBM\rationalsdp\workspace_rptse number of RQM Requests 0 running 11309 seconds."

Problem: When attempting to Import Script (i.e. clicking the Adapter button) the Import Test Script:Use local test resources window does not display my RPT machine (i.e. RPT on MachineName)

What version of RQm are you using? If this is 3.0.1 you may have the wrong context root in the server URL. In 3.0.1 this would most likely be https://my_ecm_server:9443/qm

The my_server should match with the public URI of RQM Server. Consult RQM Server administrator for the public URI. If you use some other alias name or ip address, or short name, it will not work.
