We would like to have a field (used for bug description) which does not do "wrap-around" of long lines (and have scroll-bar instead) and uses fixed-width font ("courier" for example).

Is there a type that support this?
If not, is it possible to define one such field?

currently till v403 there is no presentation kind which provides a horizontal scroller without wrapping around.  you may want to raise a enhancement request
