Reporting and creating data source

RTC 3.0.1 on Win XP using Derby database.

I want to create some BIRT reports. I want to use "JDBC data source" and directly connect to the database rather than using "Jazz data source". For the driver url what should I use? The default value is jdbc:derby:DATABASE*

I tried many combinations and nothing worked.

The BIRT JDBC Data Source is not supported out of the box. You will need to patch the server and deploy the JDBC Driver jars to the BIRT drivers folder. Regarding setting up the BIRT client to talk to a particular database, you will probably need to ask the question in the Eclipse BIRT forums.
