Local install package complains about lack of browser

Bryan Miller - Integration Developer (4493531) | asked Jun 03 '08, 1:58 p.m.
Hi,

I am attempting to install

RTC-Standard-Full-1.0Beta3-Linux-Local.sh

on RHEL 5 but it keeps complaining that it cannot find Firefox. The info center instructions say that "local" install packages do not require a browser. I also tried to cd to rtc and run ./launchpad.sh as root but I get the same failure message.

I am connected to this server via ssh and it is unlikely that it will ever be run in full X-server mode.

Please advise,
Bryan

There is a readme file attached to issue 57793 that outlines how to install on the command line in Linux without being at run level 5.

Cheers
