64bit Ubuntu client - UnresolvedAddressTranslation

I'm running 64bit Ubuntu and had the 32bit Linux jazz client working when I was running Ubuntu 7.10 .... but then I upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04 and now I can't connect to my jazz server. I get:

Login Failed
Unable to find server 'https://......"
AZ0099I HTTP error "java.nio.channels.UnresolvedAddressException" accessing https://....

Is anyone running jazz client on a 32bit Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron ? ie. Is this a 64 bit Linux problem or a generic 8.04 Ubuntu problem ?

I'm running the 32-bit version of Kubuntu 8.04, and it's working quite happily for me. (I *did* need to install the libstdc++5 package before I could run the server, though.)

Also check out bug 54394. It seems as though some recent versions didn't work on 64-bit linux, but the bug was fixed on May 15th.

I'm running server and client on 8.04 and everything's fine. I didn't have the libstdc++5 problem that sxenos mentions, but that package may already have been loaded onto my system.

I hit this same problem with 64bit Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. I resolved it by using the server's IP address instead of hostname for the repository connection.
