Can you add text directly to the diagram editor view?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Can you add text directly to the diagram editor view? Or are you expected to highlight the target area with one of the drawing tools and then add the text in the comment section in the left handle panel?

For instance, if you're marking up a diagram and would like to propose an alternative relationship between two nodes (and you would like to label that relationship so that it appears clearly on the diagram - and not burried in the comment text), how would you do this?

Adding text to sketches on diagrams can only be done on the Eclipse client for now. There is a palette tool in the drawer for adding text to the diagram, and there are text preferences in the Design Repository properties page. You can also adjust the properties of the text you just added from the Properties view or the toolbar at the top.

As for the web client, there are several enhancements open, such as

Wayne, thanks for the pointer. Sounds like I should be patient for now (and look out for the 3.1 release down the road).
