Importing from RequisitePro to RQM

Paul George (122) | asked May 18 '11, 10:45 a.m.
Wen importing requirements from ReqPro, the filter does not appear to work on the requirement tag (ID), just the name and/or requirement text. As a result finding the requirements that are part of a particular SUC is a problem, since there is nothing in common in the requirement names or requirement text. Since we have on the order of 4K requirements nodes in the SUC tree, searching manually isn't very practical

Is this a 'feature' or am I missing something?

I don't know if you partook in any of the RQM 3.0.1 beta calls, or if you had a chance to download any of the 3.0.1 beta releases, but you'll find some great improvements around Req Pro import and management in RQM 3.0.1.
Namely, you'll get Req Pro explorer views that look just like what you're used to in Req Pro itself.
For the short term with 2.X: have you looked at using packages?
