Creating iteration plans in process templates

Hi there,

When defining a process template, is there any possibility to create an iteration plan while initialization of a project area build on this template?

Within a process template work-items can be created when initializing the server. If iteration plans can be created as well, how can these work-items be automatically assigned to an itearation plan by a specification in the process template?

Thx in advance

The "Setup Project" initializer doesn't currently support creating
iteration plans.

We support creating work items because it is common that after creating
a project area from a template, there is still some manual work to do to
complete the project setup (for example, assigning members to your teams
and setting up your work item categories).

You can file a work item to request this support, but I'm not sure that
it would really make sense to automate this. Any number of project areas
can be created from a template and I wouldn't expect any two projects to
have the same iteration plan. If there's a case where this would really
be useful, please mention it in the work item.
