svn connection user name

Marshall Schor (1012724) | asked May 06 '11, 11:01 a.m.
I'm setting up an svn connection for a RTC Connection (see http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v3r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.team.scm.svn.doc/topics/t_link_workitems.html)

When I try to actually connect to the SVN repo, for example, by clicking on the "Update Links" pick for the connection, it fails, saying:

When the jazz server tried to scan the SVN server for work items links, an error was encountered (svn: Authentication required for '<the> Subversion Repository').

I suspect this might be because the sign-on name we use on SVN is one thing, and the sign-on name we use on RTC is another. Is there a way to make this work?

You may be running into the issue reported in https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/58765. When the remote Update Links fails, you should be prompted to run the update locally on the client machine. Does the local update work?
