Work item attributes read-only in a proper state

Hi,

Is there a way to make work item attribute read-only for some states. Lets say "priority" attribute is read-only if work item state is in "in Development" something like that..

In 3.0, you can specify that all of the attributes of a work item are
read-only in certain states, but I do not believe that you can specify
that only a subset of attributes should be read-only in a given state.

There is a high priority work item for more flexible definition of
read-only behavior, but I believe that did not make the 3.0.1 release.
So until that is implemented, I believe you need to add your own custom
process adviser to achieve this functionality.
