How to add an account in RAM?

Users are defined in the Websphere user registry. If you are connected
through LDAP then just turn on the "Search in registry" checkbox on the
Add User dialog when adding a user to a community.
If you are connected using just the default file registry then this
registry cannot be searched. The user must first login once and get
registered and then the Add User dialog can find the user. To add users
to this file registry then you need to do this manually using the
Websphere documentation since this is owned by Websphere.

If your using file based authentication you CAN add/delete/modify and search users though the RAM server setup application. Navigate to http://<host>/ram.setup/ and click the Users and Authentication link. You will see your existing users and an 'Add User' button on that page.
If you're connected to an LDAP server any user defined in your LDAP directory should be able to log in to RAM and fill in their registration information.
