download bulk of assets

Hi,

Is there a way to download bulk of assets? I used search to find several assets that I'd like to download, but I don't see an option to download them all in one action. I'm aware of the Modify all option, but download is not one of the options (which make sense).

Curious, what are those files that you need to download directly from the search (vs. inquire on them from the details page first).

The team had uploaded several asset (presentations) toward an event, and I'd like to download all of them.
Btw, Is it possible not from the web?

You can create a small .java / Ant tool that accept some search criteria, and fetch these assets, or use some batch to call curl / wget to use REST API.
