I have followed every step of the long installation, I am using Active Directory for auth (works fine for all other apps finalization process), Also using SQL Server without any problems. I have finalized the CCM and QM Apps without problems, but when I enter the Finalization of the RM App I get this error:

CRRRS3006E The user ID you are currently using is not authorized to finalize this application. Other possibility is that you are not authorized to configure an already existing RM storage areas on the Jazz Team Server.

Apparently I am the only one ever to get this error because Google doesn't return a single hit on it.

I will appreciate any help.

I think I found something, my rm.log has this error:

2011-04-21 18:48:34,734 [ http-443-Processor22] ERROR com.ibm.rdm.fronting.server.util.HttpClientUtil - CRRRS4142E Connection to https://localhost:9443 refused

2011-04-21 18:48:34,735 [ http-443-Processor22] ERROR com.ibm.rdm.fronting.server.util.HttpClientUtil - CRRRS4140I Could not retrieve resource: https://localhost:9443/jts/rootservices
2011-04-21 18:48:34,737 [ http-443-Processor22] ERROR com.ibm.rdm.fronting.server.util.ConfigImpl - No response returned when contacting JTS server at https://localhost:9443/jts/rootservices

But my URI is not https://localhost:9443/jts, I am not even using the 9443 port.

Any idea where is this hard coded or where the configuration is not being accepted?

I had a similar problem using the RTC 3.0 RC1.

A little different message:

2011-04-23 08:21:26,388 [ http-9443-Processor18] ERROR er.services.servicedocument.ProjectResourceService - CRRRS6252W User does not have a valid license

I used the default setting for the complete install for the most part. And could not get past the RM configuration screen.

I did download the previous beta, and did an install.
I did notice that on the license screens, you could select the different licenses. I don't remember being able to select anything on the RC1 install (but I could be mistake ... I seem to recall that the options were grayed out).
I was able to get past configuration screen which previously had errored on me.
Hope this helps.

Same here we can not pass RM installation? any idea?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Hi,

A couple of questions -

What is version of RRC that is giving problem? Is RRC being installed alone as a part of separate application or is it part of CLM Workbench?

I am assuming that the user setting up the application has JazzAdmin permission.

Shivank

Hi,
I'm having the same problem when installing the latest Release Candidate 1 bundle. That means, it is RRC 3.0 RC1 (in combination with RQM 3.0 RC1/RTC 3.0.1 RC1).

Installation is done out of the box.

Any idea?
Alexander

Update: I managed to overcome this problem by stopping the setup (i.e. close the browser). Then log in again with the newly created admin account, which has the rm analyst license. Jump directly to the /rm setup (enter the step number in the url) and proceed from here. So far I have not encountered any additional problem due to this.

Same problem here. Tried Alexander's suggestion to log off and on again with newly created admin id, still got the same problem.
Is there any one from the product team who can provide some insight?

Hi,

I found I was able to get around this by configuring only CCM and RQM and then adding the RM application once they were up and running. The trick was to go into the Jazz Team Server administration and grant my user account a license and then adding the RM application using jts/setup.

Even without installing RM, you can grant an RM license to your administration user, as all licenses are available after installation and configuration.

The jts/setup tool will configure and connect all of the applications to one another even though you're adding RM afterwards.

Good luck!
phil.

Hi,

I ended up with my system being a little messy due to installing the sample with only CCM and QM enabled so I reinstalled and noticed that when you create your admin user you can enable licenses and grant them to your user.

If you enable these licenses then the application finalisation works fine. I actually added admin first and then went back and added ccm, qm and rm together, but I'm sure it would work if you did them all together.

Thanks,
phil.

I had the same problem after unregistering RRC and then trying to re-register it. Found only one note how to fix it, however didn't worked:
https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21516852

WARNING!! Don't use this, you will lose all the RRC data.
In my case I had to do another migration again.
