Remove Job Step Tab

I need to be able to selectively remove the Job Steps Tab from one class of users. Alternatively, disable the ability of a user in certain groups to check/uncheck any of the boxes if the tab still shows up. Or even ignore whatever checks the user makes if they bother to make such checks.

I'm on 7.1.1.4 and I've tried removing the Edit Step Settings authority. Any other ideas?

Thanks!

I would suggest taking a look at the following whitepaper that has been produced about the Build Forge access model and permissions:

https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27014447

I think what you are looking for is detailed in section 5.9 (DeselectSteps).

Yep, that turned out to be it. I knew it was somewhere. SelectStepsAtRuntime.
Thanks!
