How to change the default type of TestScript

Elena Ljuseva (18277) | asked Apr 01 '11, 5:43 a.m.
Hi,

I want to add new TestScript from within a TestCase and I want to select another type then the default Manual type. How is it possible to get Type field available for selecting other values? How can you define own values into Type's dropdown list?

Thank you.

I believe you are talking about the "Add new Test Script" action in the Test Scripts section of the Test Case editor. Currently that dialog is limited to manual test scripts. There's no way to create the automated test script types via this dialog. You will have to create them separately via the main construction menu then use "add existing test script" in Test Case editor. Also, there's already an enhancement request to get the other script types added to the "Add new Test Script" dialog:
