this is something support has dealt with many times over the years. I'd suggest opening a PMR. Many variables come into play, OS version, OS TZ settings, BF TZ settings, BF version....

open a support ticket and they'll get you fixed up.

I know more now. I am on 7.1.2.1. Under administration, I see options in the pulldown like Central Africa Time, Central Australia Time, ... Central Standard Time, and Central Time (DST). When I choose Central Time (DST), the display then says Central Time (Cancun). Cancun (in Mexico) and the United States do not change to Daylight Saving Time on the same calendar schedule -- nor do we change off of Daylight Saving Time on the same calendar schedule. There is not an option in the pulldown that reflects MY timezone. US Central Daylight Saving Time. However, in the database, the root person can change us from Central Standard Time to Central Time -- this works, although all users must now go change something in their schedules, save it, change it back to get it to reflect the time we want to run. Thought I should post this in case someone else is trying to get things to work. The 'Central Time' is NOT an option in the pull down that administrators see so I will need to have the 'root' owner involved every time someone adds a new user.
