Summary: IBM Rational Team Concert provides the capability of adding custom attributes to customize the way that teams collaborate and manage their work. However, the method that the data warehouse schema uses to store work item custom attributes creates a performance issue when more than one of these attributes are used as BIRT report parameters. This article demonstrates how the problem was solved at Nationwide Insurance by developing a custom data warehouse extension.
