Update History/Notification Email for customized properties

We use a wiki description for some work item type, but in this case
we can't see the change in history, so no notification emails either;
and we can't see the new property in link prompt.

Is there anyway we can include customized properties in history?

We have the same problem with a Wiki-Description field.

An answer will be nice.
