I have a process flow built using RTC v3.0 wherein I have some preconditions checked to take necessary actions before a work item gets saved. I have an Operation Advisor code written and configured properly on the "Save Work Item ( server)" operation which works perfectly fine on saving a work item from a web client. Whereas Am not seeing it invoking the advisor code if a work item is created using a import facility (File-> Import -> Work Items from CSV ) provided by RTC client. Though its done on a rich client, ultimately the work item gets created/saved on server repository only. I was under the impression that saving a work item from anywhere would trigger the Operation Advisors configured. It does not seem to be so. Another interesting behavior I observed was, it creates a WI without any issues, even if some fields enforced as mandatory by the editor presentations are missing in the CSV file imported.

Is the behavior observed acceptable? I would need to have my precondition code invoked irrespective of where I save it from. Any guidance/ help in this direction would really help.
