Tracking Story Points in Burn Downs?

Trevor Livingston (11) | asked Feb 07 '11, 12:50 p.m.
Is it possible to configure RTC to track story points for burndowns (and capacity for that matter) rather than time?

Time is a pretty useless metric for agile burndowns and planning.

Thanks!

Hi Trevor,

RTC does track complexity such as story points on top level work items. This is also fed in Burndown, Burnup etc. An example set up for this is the scrum process template. One article that might help you further can be found here: http://jazz.net/library/article/201.

Thanks,

Ralph
