Moving a RTC 3.x server & database to a new server

Vincent TREBUCHON (36176) | asked Jan 31 '11, 8:36 a.m.
Hi all,

I'd like to simply (!) move my RTC 3.x repository (jts and ccm Derby & tomcat) to a new machine (new Mac/IP addresses & new qualified name).

Where can I find an exhaustive procedure to do that ?
The information center of RTC 3.x describes the steps to migrate from 2.x to 3.0, to upgrade from tomcat to WAS or from derby to DB2, but nothing about moving from one machine to another one.

Using RTC 2.x, it was just necessary to export/import the repo with repotools and copying the tomcat conf.
I've tried to do the same with RTC 3.x by exporting and importing the jts and ccm repos with repotools-jts and repotools-ccm, but it seems not working (additional steps might be necessary to rebuild indexes ?)

Thks for your help
