Are normal builds executed on a stream while personal builds executed on a workspace repository? How do we build on the local repository (sandbox) then?

Hi,

you select the repository workspace which is loaded in your sandbox for the private build. Provided your local changes are checked into your repository workspace which can also be automated it should be the same.

The public build by default also runs on a repository workspace which is owned by a technical build user and can automatically accept new changes from the stream.
