Date and time stamp missing in RTC workitem emails

Jazz Foundation - Jazz Team Server1.0.0.2 iFix 2 (I20100331-2220)
Rational Team Concert2.0.0.2 iFix 2 (I20100331-2220)
Installed on Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2.

Emails sent by RTC for workitems do not contain a date and time stamp. This is causing confusion among the users because emails are going to the bottom of their email list in their email client.

Are there any settings to enable date and time stamp in the emails ? Is there a known defect with RTC ? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Double check the time and time-zone on the server and email server? I have not heard of this problem before.
