Can RTC2 and RTC3 co-exists on the same host server?
Hi! Helpers
I have a question: Is it possible for both RTC2 and RTC3 to co-exists on the same host server ? Background: My team uses Rational Team Concert version RTC2 a lot. However, to try out the RTC-SCM to CC synch solution we also want to try RTC3 at the same time, but we don't want to do the RTC2 to RTC3 migration right on. Best Regards/ Robert (alias urkstovel) |

The answer to this is the same as "can two RTC servers at the same
version level run on the same host". Yes, as long as you make sure that they are listening to different ports. There are a sequence of steps you need to take to give the second server its own ports ... these steps should be in the help documentation (perhaps someone on the forum has them memorized :-). This is for switching ports in RQM, but I'm pretty sure it's the exact same procedure in RTC.
