Problem using Parameters in Scripted Dataset Report

Matt McGinn (632610) | asked Nov 15 '10, 1:02 a.m.
Hi

I have created a scripted dataset report but now I am having difficulty when I try to add in the parameters for the report. I can run the report in the development environment and get the results I expect but when I deploy the report I get an error message stating that 'The type of parameter "WITypeParameter" is expected as "Object[]", not "java.lang.String".'

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi Matt,

There are some differences in behaviour between the development environment and running the report on the RTC server. We've tried to document these differences here:

https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/ReportsViewingDifferences

In particular, the entry about parameter values might be causing the different in your case.

Hope this helps.
