Regarding the history of a field within a workitem

Hi,

I have a custom field, say, "Shipment Date". A date has been selected for this field by the person who works on the workitem.

For some reasons, this date is changed,

I would like to get information of the date change for all workitems that have been modified.

How do i achieve this? I believe there is no way to pull this information from the history Tab.

Any alternate ways to find this out?
