FITs connector to Jazz

Charley Rich (3622) | asked Mar 20 '08, 2:35 p.m.
My development team is planning on using Jazz for our development process. However, our customer requirements are in the Lotus Notes tool called FITs.

Is there a Jazz connector to pull FITs requirements into Jazz?

Thanks,

Charley

How do we get this as a requirement for Jazz?

All of Tivoli's Produc Management groups use FITs and they are looking to get off it. FITs is an application written in Lotus Notes.

It would be of big help to a lot of folks internally if such a connector existed.

Thanks,

Charley

The Jazz Item Connector component (which is used to implement the
ClearQuest Connector) is a generic component for synchronizing
record-like data in external repositories with Jazz items. For 1.0, the
item connector team is focused on using it to implement the ClearQuest
Connector, but it is intended that it will subsequently be usable for
applications like this. So you will want to identify a FITS expert to
implement the Item Connector API (with the caveat that the item
connector team is unlikely to have time to provide any assistance until
after Team Concert 1.0 ships later this year).

Cheers,
Geoff
