Differences between Enterprise & Standard
If we have a license for one RTC Standard Edition server, can we implement the "Idle Standby" strategy described in this article?

I am trying to grasp the difference between the two server editions.
The only difference I see in the feature matrix is Enterprise allows for unlimited Developer licenses and "High availability" but what does "High availability" mean? Does it mean the "Idle Standby" that article describes?

to my knowledge the high availability option is restricted to the Enterprise license.
The best way to get an impression is the Featured Downloads Tab on the download site, e.g. https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/2.0.0.2iFix3.

When I look at that feature matrix, the only differences I see between the versions is EE has unlimited developers and "High availability".
Based on your resposne and the feature matrix, I will assume there is no funcitonal difference between the two, it's really just a licensing thing.

In terms of underlying bits, all the RTC servers are the same (Express,
Express-C, Standard, Enterprise) ... it is all just licensing.
