Changing the Jazz/RTC context root

Vince Fertig (2153) | asked Aug 03 '10, 10:48 a.m.
I need to change the context root of the Jazz/RTC component of RAM. The setup application does not allow you to do this. What steps do I need to take to change the context root and reconfigure RAM to utilize RTC with the new context root?

Are these the correct steps?
* Log onto RAM and changing the internal RTC path to utilize the new URL
* Stop the RAM and RTC enterprise applications
* In the jazz war enterprise application and changing the context root
* Restart RAM and RTC enterprise applications

Do I need to take any additional actions?

JAZZ DEVELOPER
Changing the context root of the internal jazz that is deployed by RAM is not a supported option.

Changing context root is not trivial as Jazz/RTC expects to find configuration directories on the file system that match the context root of the application on the server.

Besides that the URL to Jazz/RTC is also saved in the RAM configuration and it ends in /jazz

Once you do that setup application cannot work on the environment.
