Create Build Results from outside RQM
Hi all,
We have build engines that are not coupled with RTC or build forge or the like. We'd like to somehow at the end of the build let RQM know that the build passed or failed so we can use it as a trigger to run some of the automated scripts in RQM. Is there some way to do this? We want to put it in our build script so no manual intervention is necessary. I know how to create it manually but I don't want to do it manually. Thanks in advance for any help!! Anish Goenka |

RQM currently only integrates with RTC for build integration. For details on how to enable this integration, please refer to the following help topic:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rqmhelp/v2r0/topic/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/topics/t_config_rtc_build_integration.html Having said that, I am not sure if you have an RTC environment or not. If you have one but the build engines are not configured for Jazz builds (which I assume is the case), you could create a generic build definition in RTC that points to your non-Jazz build infrastructure. Builds from this build definition can then be used to trigger notifications in RQM to run automations/tests etc. This article may be of some help: http://jazz.net/library/article/38 I hope that helps. Hello,
Are there any plans for a way to support other Build integrations besides RTC? We use CC, CQ, BuildForge. We have BuildForge populate data back in to CQ with CQ's easy cqperl API, but our testers want the build labels in RQM for testing. (as they had with CQTM). It seems to be a hassle to install RTC just to put builds in to RQM. thanks... RQM currently only integrates with RTC for build integration. Please submit an enhancement request, so that it can be added to the RQM
