Do we run the Jazz server as service (beta?)

Do we still have to run as Jazz server a service as we do in RQM, or am I now able to log out of my machine? Today, after install, we use Tomcat and run it as a service to keep it running.
Another customer mentioned that in the last beta, Jazz server would be open, if you log off server, it would shut down. In current setup is their ability to run this as a service?

Hi

What version are you running, and what OS?

For Windows, and v2.x - if you want to run the Jazz Team Server and keep it running, you will need to run it as a service. You also need to run it as a user with the appropriate permissions on your OS.

You really do need to follow the instructions on how to set up the service very carefully. For example, you cannot just use the plain Tomcat service.bat file on the Windows install set up RTC as a service (I made that mistake before :-)
