Predefined process templates not deploying in 3.0 M6
When creating a project, under Process I see the message:
No process templates found. You can deploy a set of predefined process templates by clicking the link below. when I click the Deploy predefined process templates, I get the message: The predefined process templates have been deployed successfully but no process templates appear. Any one else seeing this and is there a workaround? |

Hi Tony,
Are you working with Rational Team Concert? If so, it sounds like you may have attempted to deploy the templates from the Jazz Foundation instead of the RTC application. That is, you may have tried to deploy them from jazz/admin instead of rtc/admin. Jazz Foundation does not provide any templates itself, although it does provide the infrastructure for deploying templates. Rational Team Concert provides the templates, so they can be deployed from the RTC application. That is, you want to go to https://<servername>:9443/rtc/admin and navigate to the Process Templates tab, then deploy the templates. For more information, you can see these work items: https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/113005 https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/115269 Martha Jazz Developer, Process Component BTW, this is on RHEL 5... Thanks Martha. This caught me too for quite a while until I found this post. With the multiple war files now, it might be good to indicate which app the admin is currently in (jazz, rtc, rqm, etc). They all look the same other than the URL. And all the banners say "Jazz Team Server". Maybe change colors or banners. My .02.
