Workbench for CLM M6a process templates
Hi,
I just installed the current milestone of Workbench for CLM (M6a) -- downloaded from https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/milestones/3.0M6a I tried to create a new project area, but there are no process templates available. If I click "Deploy predefined process templates" in the project area create form, it says "The predefined process templates have been deployed successfully." but none are available. If I try to deploy the predefined process templates in Process Template Management, it says that there are no predefined templates in repository. I'm creating the project area trough /jazz/admin. Is this a correct place to create "Workbench" projects? I'm successful creating projects in /rtc/admin, but I thought that this is not the correct way to do it in the new Workbench version. What I also found weird was, that the user, created in /jazz/admin was not in the database of users in /rtc/admin. I could login (the tomcat authentication uses the plain text file), but the user was not in the repo. Is this correct? Where should the users be created? Is there a place where we can download the process templates? |

Hi, Hi When you are on the Create Project screen, check your locale settings - uncheck the Filter by Locale button and see if you can see process templates now. There are usually English (United States) templates available, but there may not yet be other languages. anthony |
Thanks for a quick response.
After setting all the products up (rdm/setup rrc/setup) there is one item in the list of available process templates (in jazz/admin) called Rational Requirements Server Template. I use English locale, unchecking the "Filter", the Requirements template shows in different languages, but no other templates show up. Should this be the only available template or should there be more? Was the configuration procedure (run /setup on all products) correct? |

One source of confusion (although I agree with the change) is that the
rtc application no longer owns the "jazz" namespace ... that is for the jazz foundation server. So you need to setup "rtc" (.../rtc/setup and ..../rtc/admin) for rtc project areas. Also note that in the M6a milestone, user admin has not yet been unified, so you have to create the users separately in each of the applications (rtc, rqm, rdm).
