subscriptions to work items only delivered via email?

In the rich client's Team Artifacts view you see a section 'Feeds'. One
of the children is 'My Work Item Changes'. This is the feed that
contains changes to work items you are subscribed to. You can either
open the feed from the Team Artifacts view or you can open an event
section in the Team Central view.

Actually, several jazz objects such as work item queries, plans, team
areas and users allow you to subscribe to their change feeds. The
subscribe action is available in the context menu of these objects.
