Login to repository fails when using VPN client
I cannot login to a particular repository when using my VPN AT&T client and the RTC 3.0 eclipse client. I eventually get this error:
Failed to contact the repository 'jazzdev03.torolab.ibm.com'. CRJAZ1371E The URL "https://jazzdev03.torolab.ibm.com:9443/jazz03/service/com.ibm.team.repository.common.internal.IRepositoryRemoteService" cannot be reached. The server cannot be reached. The network could not connect to the server. The error is "Connection refused: connect". Contact your system administrator. I am able to ping jazzdev03.torolab.ibm.com and can connect via the web client. I have no problems connecting when not going through the VPN. An older connection that used RTC 2.0.0.2 connecting to a different repository works fine with VPN. Can anyone help with this? Thanks Marie |

I can only assume that this was being caused by a problem with my Symantec Client Firewall. After uninstalling and re-installing Symantec the problem seems to have gone away.
