Can you copy the files from your Out going change set

I have an outgoing change set which contains my modified files.
I would like to select the change set and copy the files (with their folder structure) to a separate folder on my hard drive.

I am new to this, so am probably just missing something :)

Thanks

You can create a "patch" for those modifications, but that isn't quite
what you are asking for. Why do you want to do this?

Geoff

Our source base is very large and performing a full build is expensive time wise. We have a fully built source available to us.
I'd like to get the latest fully built source and put my changes over the top, then build only the 1 or 2 modules I affected. Then be up and running.

I could easily do this if I could copy the files I modified to another folder.

So off the Change Set context menu, where it has 'Move'>'New change set'
If it also had 'Copy'>'To...' and I could pick a folder on my hard drive.
That would be very helpful.

Instead I seem to have to pick my changes by hand.

If the fully built source area were in an RTC workspace, you could just
accept that change set into that workspace, and RTC would do the copying
for you. Is there a reason why the fully built source area is not in an
RTC workspace?

Geoff
